Greencademy: Empowering Youth Workers for Green Transition” is an Erasmus+ project designed to address the challenges posed by the global green transition. The project recognizes the critical role youth workers play in equipping young people with the skills and knowledge required to engage meaningfully and lead the green transition. By bridging gaps in research and methodologies, this project empowers youth workers to act as catalysts for change.
The project consists of the following activities:
- local research on environmental education and social engagement (desk research, focus group interviews, surveys) summarized by the creating the national reports and international comparative report presenting good practices and mapping challenges and gaps requiring intervention,
- creation of a Toolkit containing over 20 different environmental education tools (exercises, workshop plans, descriptions of long-term activities),
- training of Trainers – training for youth workers in conducting education for ecology and sustainable development based on the materials included in the Toolkit,
- series of local educational initiatives,
- creation of a Guidebook – a guide for people working with youth, describing good practices and methodologies developed within the project,
- a series of local dissemination activities.
